If you fight for women’s rights, then you must also fight for LGBT rights; and if you fight for LGBT rights, then you must fight for African Americans’ rights; and if you fight for African Americans’ rights, then you must fight for Hispanic and Native American and other races’ rights; and if you fight for other races’ rights, then you must fight for Muslims’ rights and Jews’ rights because when we tolerate oppression of one minority, we tolerate oppression of all minorities.
look out for that racist in you.

Who’s more oppressed, religious people or atheists?
Give credit where it’s due?
*Child passes exam with flying colours*
Mom: My prayers have been answered! Thank you God.
*Child fails exam*
Mom: This is all your fault! You must have slacked off at the last minute! Go up to your room and study, you’re grounded!
A truly compassionate person does not need the promise of heaven to perform good deeds.
Okay, just because I personally don’t believe in God doesn’t mean that I disrespect your religion or anything, it’s just not my personal beliefs. I have massive massive respect for religion.
But, saying that, people tend to get offended when you voice your opinion. If someone walks up to an Atheist and says “I’m Christian!” there’s nothing offensive about that. But, from my experience, if an Atheist tells a Christian that they are, indeed, Atheist, the Christian will get extremely offended for what seems to be no reason. I’m not saying that this applies to everyone, because I know that it doesn’t. But a vast majority of people that I know would react that way.
I would never tell anyone that they’re wrong for what they believe in. But on a regular basis, I get called a Satanist, told that I’m a horrible person, that I’m going to hell and that I’m wrong all the time because of my beliefs.
I’m not a Satanist, I just don’t believe in God. Okay. If I’m respecting your beliefs, can you at least try to respect mine? .-.
My situation is almost like hers. My religious belief isn’t that strong. But that doesn’t mean I’m a horrible person right?
